3 - 4 hour tours in the vacinity of White Island and Whale Island encountering huge pods of Dolphins and often including sightings of Whales, seals and the many Pelagic fish and seabirds that occupy our waters during the warm summer months.
(2) Dolphins and Whale Island Eco Tour.
A 2 hour tour around Whale (Moutohora) Island A wildlife sanctuary 9.3 Kms from Whakatane, view Dolphins,seals, penguins, native falcons and much more unique New Zealand Wildlife.
(3) Dive Whale Island,
3-4 hour dive trips on many shallow reefs with an abundance of NZ marine life. Great for Novice and experienced divers alike, only 7 kms from Whakatane. Some equipment available for hire.
(4) Dive The SeaFire wreck,
New Zealands newest wreckdive. Sunk in 31 meters near Whale Island, the 44 meter deepsea trawler offers a new local experience. 3-4 hours trips. Some dive equipment available for hire.
(5) Snorkeling adventures ,
3-4 hour snorkeling adventures around Whale Island. Swim with seals, penquins and other abundant marine life surrounding Whale Island.
(6) Whale Moutohora Island Guided Tours
4 Hour guided walking tours of Moutohora Island wildlife sanctuary. Learn from our 23 years of personal involvement and Scientific research of this prestine restoration project.
